God is good! We got new carpet in the chapel and it looks tremendous. The carpet was given to us by a man in Chattanooga. It has been stored away for sometime until we could get it put down.
The time came.
The necessary man power was available and I am grateful to every one who helped in the project.
The carpet is a light, sandy brown and looks great. I can't wait until Saturday night when we have service there.
I have been blessed to be pastor here at Rapha and both Vicki and I can't think of another place we'd rather be than out here. God's call has covered us and we truly enjoy just being here even when we don't have to be. Yesterday morning we had driven to Wal-mart to buy some groceries. In the process of walking the store Vicki had gotten some doughnuts and as we were exiting the building, she said, "Let's drive out to Rapha and get Barry to make some coffee. Let's just go hang out." We did and the our time with Barry and John was a God appointment. We covered our finances that the church brings in and through prayer, put together a plan we think is from God on how to disperse the money.
It's not the amount taken but the fact that it is all given away.
Our meetings are on Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Periodically things come up and we aren't able to host the meeting, so check back here on the blog to see if we are. I usually try to post and let people know if the meetings have been cancelled.
