John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me."

Jesus....sin destroyer.
Jesus....power and authority beyond the reach of hell and the Kingdom of darkness.
Jesus....the ransom for sinners and the restorer of relationship.
It was Jesus' love and heart to do his Father's will that sent him here to planet earth.
And it was here Jesus manifested and demonstrated the heart and will of God the Father in the midst of sin occupied creation.
Taking on the attitude and heart of one who was being led to slaughter, this Lamb of God defeated the devil and his minions by allowing himself to die. Jesus chose the time of his death. Jesus freely and willingly gave his life.
Once bound by death, Jesus was resurrected by God's Holy Spirit.
This resurrection brought into the reality of our world such words as:
1.) Justification
2.) Sanctification
3.) Regeneration
Jesus, being risen from the dead, too the authority of the kingdom of darkness away. He took the keys to death, hell and the grave.

It is insulting to intellectuals that the Gospel is so simple. Christianity is ridiculed as a simple-minded faith because it is real and true........even to the simple (of which I am one).
While religion has a great need for the manifest works of man, Jesus does not.
Truth be known, the Gospel has a way of offending a great many people who cannot accept the truth of Christ. The words from John 14:6 are a sticking point for the world. I cannot tell you how many people have come to me with this statement. "I just can't believe that Jesus is the only way to reach God. That is such a close minded statement."
Our flesh (sin nature) wants to believe that there are many paths that lead to God and eventually heaven. We want to believe that if we are simply good people who do good deeds, then God will have to let us into heaven. Trouble with that statement is that we possess a sin nature and the penalty for sin is death.
When we sin (notice I said when and not "if") we do so against an eternal God. God being eternal has brought forth that the penalty for sin is an eternal punishment. As equal as God's justice is God's love.
The Gospel is full of the love of Jesus for his Father and for the creation.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Don't let the world and the devil rob you of the most incredible inheritance ever.
Think on these things.....
God on you....
