The Ultimate Invitation

An invitation has gone out to all the world....
A very simple invitation.....
One word....
Come!

It isn't the extent of the invitation as much as it is the one who extended it.
God.

For the one who extended this invitation is not the God of mental concept or man's image of what divine looks like...
But the God who breathed into that dust dummy in the garden and made it come to live. A living, breathing soul ....Adam.

The invitation is for those who are downtrodden. Those who society has marginalized are invited because society has no time for such invitations.

Isaiah 55:1 is shouted from the highest high with a voice that is not bound by language or dialect. For it is the voice of the heart.
"Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come buy (priceless, spiritual) wine and milk without price (Simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing).

The outcast is invited.
The ones that are not valued by our society or nation.
The ones with Downs syndrome will lead the praise procession because they are not inhibited like some of us. They will expend themselves before God in their worship because of the untainted love that is found in their hearts. All of those who society have labeled as "mentally defective" will take their rightful place in the singers and musicians. For when the Lord invites, He heals those who say, "Yes!"

The cripple will come with walkers and crutches, wheel chairs and canes, using every bit of their strength, because they truly believe that if they can but touch the hem of His garment, those instruments of sickness and death will be discarded. They will be made whole! Can the entirety of this world even contain the outburst of praise that will erupt when this takes place? I think not.

There will be those who are invited whose disability is not evident with human eyes. They are crippled. They are maimed. They are beaten and battered sometimes by the words of those closest to them. Some times by their own thoughts and words. But the wounds and torn places are inside. Too crippled to love. Too beaten down to hope. The invitation to come cuts through every open wound and rains down a salve of healing that draws the individual.
Oh God, We will come to you.
Oh God, We will be healed for Your kingdom.
Oh God, We will be made whole.....spirit.......soul.......and body.

For Your Glory, because no one deserves it more than you, Lord.

Give me ears to hear the invitation, so that I do not miss You.
Maranatha Lord Jesus....Come!
"For the Lord has said, "Do not stand on the banks and watch. Jump...leap....into His river. Dive deep into His presence and come up screaming, 'JESUS, JESUS, JESUS!"

God on you...
