Living Sacrifices Worship Conference This Weekend/ Friday and Saturday

This week end Gadsden Vineyard Church, supported by Vineyard ReCovery, will be the sight for the LIVING SACRIFICES WORSHIP CONFERENCE. I know..I know...it sounds like a huge event, with tons of people and lots of activity. Well, it's not, it's something more. IT's a kind of family reunion with brothers and sisters you didn't know you had. lot's of food...a chance to meet new faces and swap stories about the goodness of God. The bottom line is, it is an opportunity to worship. To talk about worship, and then worship. To discuss what worship means to each of us..and then worship. As the scripture states so eloquently..."We bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord".

There is a cost of $30.00 per person  if you want to attend the entire conference which begins Friday evening. Saturday night, you can come and be a part for free. Crispin Schroeder, along with Bobby McDonald, will be our guest teachers and worship leaders. What you will experience and be a part of is a unique style of worship that is definitely regional in its sound.
I'll put it like this...
If the music doesn't stir your spirit....
and you don't find yourself tappin' that toe...
then we better take your pulse, you just might be dead.

The one thing that I love about this particular worship event is an opportunity to spend time with the ones leading it. The small discussion groups where they lay out their view (supported by Scripture) on what worship means to them. The need to move worship from the stage into the room. Worship is not a spectator event...it's isn't a performance...it is a gathering of God's people who want to pour out their hearts and love to a God who is greater than we could ever hope or imagine Him to be.

Psalm 95:1-3
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord.
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving.
let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the Lord is the great God,
And the the great King above all gods.

So if you're free this weekend....
C'mon out and join us...

God on you...
