Moravian Motivation / Some Things Never Change

Step # 12
Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others and to practice these principals in all our affairs.

Why a video about the Moravians? Because these folks were totally sold out to God.
Think about it.

They were kicked out of their own country.
Moved about until a German count took pity on them and gave them a place to settle.
Once there, they started a prayer meeting that lasted for 100 years. That's another whole crazy story in and of itself.
They began to burn (feel the presence of God urging them) to go out and share who Jesus was and what He was capable of doing in the lives of those who didn't yet know Him.

They started to take the message out.

What I have found is that when someone finally wakes up (spiritually and mentally) in this relationship that Jesus wants to have with them, they naturally begin to feel an itch to tell others about what has happened to them.

That is why I love Celebrate Recovery.

People tell their story.
They share a story of hope and a real future with someone who has lost all hope and can't see a way out.

We replicate or reproduce offspring in the Kingdom of God by telling our story.
We bring in others into this life that we have found.
Then we show them how to live and what is expected of all of us as we grow in Christ.

Truth be known....
The real message of recovery is found in a person, not a program.

That person being Jesus.
That is why we started Vineyard Recovery Church...to introduce people to Jesus.
Not so we can get them "saved" and add another notch on our Spiritual Belts....no.

So we can train them and send them out to tell others.

God on you....
