The Power Of Love
"For God So loved the world......."
"For God is love......"
"For the Fruit of the Spirit is love......"
The Power to change and the power to be changed is found in the most misunderstood word in the English language. That word is love.
Love isn't an emotion.
Love isn't a feeling.
Love is a choice.
A choice that is birthed in a heart that has been the recipient of the most incredible types of love ever. The Love of God poured out on me, the most undeserving person ever to walk this earth. He chose me. He loves me. And in return, He is trying to teach me how to love like Him.
Ephesians 3:17-19 - That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. That you, being rooted and grounded in LOVE, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth, and height----to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. That you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Did you catch that in the verses above?
Did you catch the dimensions of the love of God?
His love is so wide that it will cover anything and everything.
His love is so long that he will go to any lengths to pour it out on you.
His love is so deep that nothing can escape His power to heal and restore. To forgive and redeem.
His love is so high it reaches to heaven. In other words, His love, poured on us, is to be returned to Him by us. That is the spiritual life-line, or connection that ties us to God.
His love.
God on you....
