Romans 5:1-2
By Entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us--set us right with him----we have it all together with God because of our Lord Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that He has already thrown open His door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand---out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
Faith?
Most everyone knows Hebrews 11:1---substance of things not seen.....evidence of things hoped for.
Faith is the belief....
You know, it is more than belief. It is more than an opinion about God's nature. It is a heart felt conviction...a leaning on, relying on, clinging to of truth that tells our heart that God is who He claims to be and will do what He claims He will do.
Faith is the divine super-glue that bonds me to God.
Faith is the diving super-glue that bonds God to me.
God, in his infinite wisdom knew that in order for humans to be connected to Him and His will, it would take something more powerful than intellect. Intellect operates under the assumption of doing so because of human will or knowledge. He knew that in order for us to be brought to the awareness of our sinfulness and desire to turn to Him, we would need that spiritual connection.
Ephesians 4:7 tells us that God has given to each male and female a measure of faith. You know if you really stop to think about this, it will mess up some theology. I mean, really wrap your brain around this idea that God has placed in every person on the planet a measure of faith.
This faith lies dormant and waiting until God's word is heard by the individual. The word of God brings the faith to life and the great struggle begins. Faith plus the conviction by the Holy Spirit brings us into a place of Grace where we are broken and ready for God to save us. Gotta love me some faith!
Hebrews 11:5 reads: It is impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond (Or cares to reward) to those who seek Him.
Faith is the voice that calls us to repentance.
Faith is the voice that breaks down every argument the devil and his cronies throw up to keep us from moving toward God.
In fact, are you ready for this?
God has called us to live by faith (II Corinthians 5:7)
Live by faith!
In other words, every situation we run into......
Every problem that would raise it dumpy little head in an effort to side track us...God calls us for us to apply faith to gain the solution.
Faith lifts my spiritual eyes above my problems and simply asks the question, "What would you have me do now, Father?"
Faith is the divine, heavenly frequency that only believers can hear. The devil cannot copy faith, or corrupt it for his purposes.
Faith is the secret language from heaven given to us as God's children.
Do you speak the language?
It's easy.
Turn to God today.....
