THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO OUR CHOICES

Romans 1:32
Although they know the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Some will truly be surprised at that point in time when the reality of this verse is laid at the feet for them to clearly see. In this case, the death mentioned is what is referred to as the second death, or spiritual death. Rejecting and discrediting everything about God and His word seals their fate. A fate that they chose for themselves.
Not even the Federal Government, or any cultural protest will save them. There will not be able to fall upon "Well, I didn't know".I wish for no one to cross over who has willing and foolishly rejected God's free gift of salvation.
One last thing.....Simply because you don't believe all this "GOD STUFF" doesn't make it any less real. The choices we make while we occupy this earth, determine the harvest we will reap when our time to die comes....and believe me when I say that is one appointment you and I will not be able to escape.
You may even be thinking that what I have written is too legalistic, or hateful. How can it be hateful if I have written it to warn others about the eternal danger of rejecting God?
If you read Romans 1:18-32, you will see the slippery slope and ultimate end for those who have chosen to chase after the indulgence of the flesh (following the lead of our sin nature). It begins with suppressing the truth of God, and ultimately ends with a person completely in spiritual darkness applauding and celebrating the depravity that they have sunk to.
Let me leave you with this...
Why would God include such a passage in Scripture if He didn't love His creation?
Why would He list out step by step the danger of rejecting Him?
Because He wanted us to clearly see what happens when we try to reject Him in favor of becoming our own so called "god" of our personal life.
Romans 1:22
Professing to be wise, they became fools.....
Just some thoughts for a Monday morning....
God on you....
