READY---------SET-------CREATE!!

"In the beginning, God created...."   What a way to open Scripture. Bam! Right off the bat, we see the mind and heart of God. He is a creative, bringing out the most spectacular display of His ability and Power, God.

We can only wonder through the lens of faith what such a moment looked like. We can only speculate what truly took place on the first second of the first minute, of the first day. In the beginning God created.

What if a more subtle "creation" takes place and we seldom give it a thought? What if that same God is still at work like we read in Genesis chapter 1? What if we truly stopped and realized the power and authority that God possesses to change.................US!

Every morning when we wake up and put our feet on the floor, the creative process of God begins. #1- He sees fit to give us one more moment of life. #2 - As we begin our daily routine, He is working in the hearts and minds of those who have turned over will and life to His care. We move through our day thinking somehow that we are in control, and that God is merely a bystander watching everything unfold. Kind of like a Celestial Cheer Leader!!

God's creative process is 24/7 within each of us. Ephesians 4 tells us that we are to become  "Mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Now, I can't make that happen, nor can you. But we can allow God to have a Genesis time as His Holy Spirit takes my character defects and replaces them with His fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, long suffering etc.),

So as you move through your day, be well aware of the work that God is doing inside of you. Be aware of how far He has brought you and the growth that has already taken place. Be grateful that "He who began a good work is faithful to see it to the end."

Think on this today...

God on you....
