THE SAND IS RUNNING OUT

Troubles out there....
Protests....
Riots.....
Demands being made....
Rewriting History, as if you could really do that.
Anger....
Division....
Hatred....
And the Sand Is Running Out.
What?
I said, "The Sand Is Running Out."

We act as if time is unlimited, as far as life here on earth is concerned.
Not only are we a day older, but everyone who draws breath is one heartbeat closer to death.

Now there is One who stands outside of time.
One who invaded our time and space years ago, coming down, taking on the form of man and walked among us.

During His time here on earth, He spoke and taught many wonderful things. He also gave some warnings as to the future. I don't think many think about these warnings now days. They are too busy with whatever has busied them.

This One who came to us did so to save us....
Mankind has an eternal debt hanging over their heads, and many don't even realize it. Like I said, they are too busy with whatever has busied them.
But this debt is called a sin-debt. It is a heart condition that causes blindness. Oh, not the kind where you physically cannot see, but rather a blindness to the truth of God. This sin debt is a state of the human heart and can only be paid, or dealt with, in one way. Confessing that we owe that debt.....Confessing our need to be saved from the outcome of that debt. Turning to Jesus the Christ as the only means of having that debt removed. Then, in faith, receive the salvation and way to a new life. I know....I know....it all sounds to bizarre and kind of "Twilight Zone", but believe me when I tell you it is real.

Now, back to the "time" thing and "Sand running out".
In John Chapter 16, verse 32 Jesus says, "Indeed the HOUR is coming...."
In John Chapter 17 verse 1 Jesus says, "Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, "Father, the HOUR has come......"
In other words, God has a timetable that He is keeping as to His plans for humanity.
I guess where you stand with God determines if the plans are good.....or those plans are bad.

Like I said, "The Sand Is Running Out"....
Even the most spiritually ignorant can look around and wonder "Are we living in the last days?"
As John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard Churches, use to say..."I don't know if we're living in the last days.....I just know that we are "Laster" than we've ever been."

It seems to me that all the darkness and activity that is going on in this nation and around the world is a sign that we may not have much longer in this world. That the ultimate time-point of God's plan will unfold, and some of us may be alive to see it.

What point would that be?
The return of Jesus, not as the gentle lamb...
But as the Lion of Judah returning as judge.
you may be thinking to yourself, "I don't believe such as this will ever happen!"
Well, I hate to break the news to you....
The event is not affected one bit by whether you or me believe or don't believe.
It will happen.
The real question, right now, right here, today...is
"Are You Ready To Meet Him?"
