To begin a journey with Christ is a mixture of death and life. Such seems to be in contrast to one another. How could these two ever be friends...death and life? Yet this is the heart of surrender to the call of Christ to find life.........real life........abundant life.
We lose our lives....but gain Him.
We die to self and sin....but we are filled with His presence and His power.
We are resurrected, in a sense, to see and interact with this fallen world in a way we never could have ever imagined.
And the beginning, which Christ walked out, took place in a garden one dark night. A night so dark that even the light of the moon could not penetrate. A night so heavy with knowledge of what the coming day held, that Christ whispered these words....."Not my will, but Your's Father".
Should that not be the words that stay on our lips?
Should these words not fill every part of our being?
I say yes....
I say yes....
God on you
