WHO YOU GONNA CALL?

I know that times are dark and full of uncertainty. I also know that such breeds seeds of fear and doubt.......of anxiety and it seems as though the very ground you stand on will not hold you. So what are we to do when these things seem to come at us like an unholy tsunami?

What do we do when it seems as though your job, your very lively hood and means to support a family, is in jeopardy? Where do we turn? Who do we look to? This is not going to be a lengthy posting this morning, but I do want to go to the Word of God for our answer.

Psalm 20

V.1- May the Lord answer you when you are in distress, may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

V.2- May He send you help from the sanctuary, and grant you SUPPORT from Zion.

V.3- May He remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.

V.4 - May He give you the desire of your heart, and make all your plans succeed

V.5- May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

V.6- Now I know this: THE LORD GIVES VICTORY TO HIS ANOINTED. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary, with the victorious power of His right hand.

The entire passage I've written comes down to these next verses, and asks a very simple question. "Who Are You Looking To?"

V.7- Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord Our God.

V.8- They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

V.9- Lord, give victory.........Answer us when we call!

So today, don't let the voices that are filling your mind and heart draw you away from the truth. With every ounce of energy and strength you have, set your heart and mind like flint and cry out to God..."I WILL TRUST YOU!"  No matter what your situation may look like....no matter what your circumstances are....stand firm in Christ this day.

Know that God truly does love you, and so do I

God on you.....
